Athletes show the benefits of working with SpeedEdge Performance

These weeks have been fantastic for SpeedEdge Performance athletes, with many of our athletes performing strongly at various sports and disciplines. Some notable mentions:

Sergio Marques continued showing why he is the most successful Portuguese long distance triathlete of all time, winning the 2022 Europe Triathlon Challenge Long Distance Championships Almere 40-44 Age group category, in a fantastic display of strength with one of the fastest Age Group cycling splits, after having suffered a leg injury in the lead up to this race.

Sofia Gomes, from Massi-Tatic, went to Spain to race in La Nocturna, finishing 4º overall and 2nd under 23, and then went to win the 6° Prémio de Ciclismo da União de Freguesias Taveira-Ameal-Arzila in Portugal

Moreover, next week promises to be a special week for SpeedEdge Performance with our athlete Octávio Cardoso heading to Italy to race in the UCI Grandfondo Time trial World Championships , being held on the 15th September in Trento. Octavio qualified to this event, after finishing 2nd in the Time Trial Grandfondo Coimbra Region 2022.
